Justin suggests you should always take more than one credit card away with you, but never keep the cards in the same place. That way, if you lose your wallet, or get robbed or anything else awful like that, you’ve still got that lifeline that can get you home if necessary.

Another essential bit of kit when you’re away from home is a small pack of wet wipes. These can be used to wipe various parts of your anatomy – your hands, for instance, after eating some fruit, or your bum if – perish the thought – you ever have to use those awful chemical toilets at outdoor festivals.
